MoEngage raises $30M Series D round led by Insight Partners

A Sans Francisco and Bangalore-based startup called MoEngage helps their first clients to understand the customers. They work with app engagement. In four months, they were able to raise $30 million. Steadview Capital helmed the Series D round of the SaaS startup. The current investors participated, raising all-time money of almost $100 million.

The customers of MoEngage gain deeper insights into how they engage with the apps and websites. Customer preferences are a part of these insights. They navigate the app and its offerings in a way to attract customers and users’ attention. They also try to work on companies that are failing to do so.

MoEngage classifies the customers based on lifestyle and similarities. Then they go further with their communication campaigns accordingly. The co-founder of MoEngage, Raviteja Dodda, says that they enable the digitization of the customers’ brands.

The startup has received acknowledgment from Gartner and G2 in the last few years. It has 1,000 customers across the globe. Their client list includes Shopsy by Flipkart, Atom Finance, Policy Bazaar, Byju’s, CIMB Bank, Landmark Group, and Domino’s Pizza.

MoEngage engages customers based on their shopping habits and behaviors. Customer engagement has improved.

MoEngage feels confident about the deep domain access and algorithms. This will give the customers a great browsing experience.

The startup saw its ascension to the top due to the pandemic when more companies resorted to building their websites.

Their AI engine, Sherpa, is the result of their product innovation. Berlin, London and Boston already have offices and plans to launch fresh funds. They will scale their offerings on the products and focus on talent hiring. With so many global offices, they will now reach various multicultural clients and companies globally.

They plan to deliver a tailored customer experience across channels. The insights from MoEngage got more customer-led engagements and campaigns. This enabled brands to create results and build good relationships with their customers.
